Post 4: My favorite movie/TV show
Hi everyone! We voted and here's the result: this week we will write about our favorite movie or TV show. It was actually a tie with the topic about pets, but since I don't have a pet I just decided to choose the other one. Here is some information you should include in your text:
Word count: 140.
One of my favorite TV series is definitely Game of Thrones. For those of you who haven’t watched it yet, this is a medieval fantasy drama based on the book franchise A Song of Ice and Fire written by George R. R. Martin. Being the nerd that I am, of course I also read the books. However, the TV series, created by HBO, stands as a separate piece, because many storylines are different from the book.
I would recommend this show to absolutely anyone! Except maybe children – some of the scenes are most definitely not for them. But everyone who is over 18!
- Context about the movie/TV show (year, director, why it is known for)
- What it is about (NO SPOILERS).
- Why you like it so much.
- Who should watch it?

| Arya Stark with her kick-ass sword! |
This is the main premise of the show: everyone wants to be the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. But they are so busy fighting each other that everyone forgets about the threat of the supernatural White Walkers who only want to kill them all. Many more things happen, for sure, but that’s the core of it.
One of my favorite aspects is the portrayal of women in the show – they are shown as powerful, intelligent, and capable women. All of them, including controversial (and hated) Cersei, played by Lena Heady. One of the audience favorites is Arya, played by Maisie Williams, who is an incredibly smart girl who manages to survive alone in a war-torn world and kick ass.
