Post 3: My favorite piece of technology
Hey everyone! Today we will write about our favorite piece of technology. I know it's not the best topic in the world, but I promise it makes sense and we can make it fun :)

Here is my story:
My laptop
When my dad died in 2014, I inherited some money from him that I used to pay for my Master's degree, but I had some money left that I decided to use to buy a MacBook Pro from a friend of mine. I bought it for a very good price, as the owner was my friend. My life changed from that moment on, as MacBooks are great laptops. I use it for work, and I use it for fun to watch movies when I'm home and play some video games (I have a Super Nintendo emulator that I use to play Super Mario), so I basically live with it every single day.
Why is this a great laptop? Well, it has incredible features that you don't find in a Windows laptop. First of all, it's incredibly fast and I can have many tabs open in the browser and it never crashes. Whenever I need to sign a pdf document I can do it using the camera of the laptop and a feature incorporated in it! I don't even have to print the document! I hate using real paper, because too many trees are needed to make paper, and that's not very good for the environment. And also, I can use Keynote to make presentations, which makes them look very professional. Remember my presentation about neuromyths? ;)
Last year I decided to upgrade my old laptop to a MacBook Air, from which I'm writing at the moment, and I love it. It's lighter than the previous one, so my back doesn't hurt :)
I know that people with other needs can use these laptops to their full potential, but for what I have to do it makes me extremely happy. My life without it would be... slower. And a test to my patience. I would not change my laptop for the world.

There have been many inventions that man has created, however the computer is a wonder, I can no live without it either.

ReplyDeleteI have one that uses windows, but i prefer macbooks, for the same reason, they are very fast, they weigh little and that is why it is more convenient to take them to the university : )

ReplyDeleteThe notebooks are the best thing ever <3, its the technologic diary, and of course, you can watch anime and series hahah and yes!!! the emulator games!! my brother download to me kirby! what a lovely game!!! and pokemon pinball (best game EVER) and all the pokemon games hahahah

Sorry my delay, I was not available to see u-cursos :'( I have the worst computer ever!! always get stuck and have so much virus too, I would love have a mac pc to have photoshop and premier more easy, but are so expensives
